First Love 99
Chapter 99
Angela instinctively glanced at Fiona.
"Wrongdoings deserve punishment,” Fiona said with a faintly grim expression, casting a cold look at the flustered
Talia. "You have three days to recover all the stolen items. If not, don't expectto show any leniency."
Talia's tears flowed like a river. The stolen items had already been sold; how could she possibly get them back?
"Fiona, isn't this too harsh? If her family had the money, would she have resorted to this? It's clear you have no
intention of letting them off." Ursula's voice carried a cold edge, her growing frustration with Fiona evident.
“And if you were handling this, what would you do?” Fiona replied, her tone sharp yet faintly amused. She fixed
her gaze on Ursula, her eyes unyielding. “Since you're so kind-hearted, why not pay for their medical expenses
and redeem Natalie's valuables yourself?"
Ursula's expression darkened, and she retorted coolly, "What does this have to do with me?

She had only cto watch the unfold, with the intention of stirring up discord if she could.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtFiona's demeanor turned icy. "If you're unwilling to take responsibility, then don't waste your breath with
meaningless words."
The atmosphere in the spacious living room grew heavy and oppressive.
Then, unexpectedly, Fiona turned back to Talia
“At Bamford Manor, anyone who has worked here for over three years is eligible for medical benefits.
Considering your years of dedication, you may stay on, and your family will receive proper care at the Bamford
family's hospital. However, if anything like this happens again..."
“It won't! It won't, Madam Fiona!” Talia interrupted, bowing repeatedly, tears streaming
down her face.
Angela was caught off guard by the outcome.
In her experience, Fiona had always been rigid and uncompromising. To see her offer a middle ground was
surprising. That such a personality could thrive in the PR department for so long was nothing short of impressive.
The next morning, breakfast had been carefully prepared with two types of cuisine- lighter food for Angela and
more flavorful options for Fiona.
Chapter 99
When Angela cdownstairs, she found Flona and Joseph were already seated at the dining table, waiting for
her.
“Fiona, you've been quite busy lately. How's your health? Are you feeling alright?” Joseph asked warmly, his face
softened with a rare smile.
Fiona blinked, then allowed a slight smile to grace her lips. The sharp edge of her presence seemed to dissolve,
replaced by a gentle warmth,
“I'm fine, Dad. Everything is going well. I'm grateful for the opportunity you've givento manage the
household,” Fiona replied sincerely. For the first time, she made an effort to foster a closer connection.
Joseph stroked his beard in satisfaction. Spotting Angela descending the stairs, he quickly instructed a maid to
assist her.
Fiona's balanced approach to leadership had impressed Joseph, bringing order and harmony to the household.
With the family matters settled, Angela turned her full attention to preparing for the upcoming competition in
Bellador.
Callum had pitted two divisions against each other, with the winning team representing the company.
As soon as Angela returned to Division One, she found an email from Callum detailing the competition rules.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmEach division was to select ten members, who would submit designs based on a given theme. The designs would
be anonymized and voted on by peers, with the top ten receiving the highest votes earning the right to
represent the company.
Additionally, the division with the most representatives among the ten would have their division head lead the
team.
After quickly reviewing the rules, Angela forwarded them to the Division One group chat and immediately called
a meeting with the team.
