Chapter 79
Just then, Amara suddenly remembered what Liliana had said during her interview the previous day. Her eyes
darted around as she whispered, "Dad, honestly, Elowen's a good person; she's just a bit immature. | mean, I'm
only a few months younger than her, so maybe it's not my place to say, but she really doesn't act her age. None
of my friends would pull a stunt like that."
Larry's expression darkened even more at her words.
He stood up from his chair, clasped his hands behind his back, and paced by the window a few times. After a
moment, he stopped, his face stern. "If she's that immature, she probably can't handle running the company."
"Exactly," Amara replied nonchalantly. "The Sullivan Group is your life's work. It needs proper management, not
someone running it on a whim."
Larry said nothing, maintaining his solemn expression for a few more seconds before speaking. "We'll decide on
the shares later. There are sfamily matters to discuss too. You should head back."

After saying that, Amara left the chairman's office. Her face was mostly hidden behind a mask, showing little
emotion, but a smirk was playing at the corners of her lips.
For now, it seemed she wouldn't be getting the majority of the Sullivan Group's shares, but at least Elowen
wouldn't either. The outcwas still up in the air.
Later that evening, Amara returned to the film set.
The upcoming scene was crucial; it was a pivotal moment between Liliana and Lucian, marking a small but
significant twist in the plot.
Amara positioned herself nearby with her notebook, ready to observe and take notes. However, as shooting
began, Lucian was the one who stumbled.
Lucian played a prince, secretly in love with his sister-in-law, Isabella, throughout the early part of the story. His
character was one of tragic tonging, but later he found his own love, leading to a happy ending.

In this scene, Lucian was supposed to meet Isabella in the garden, having cleverly sent her attendants away to
confess his feelings a scene meant to be filled with deep emotion.
But during filming, Lucian's expression was all wrong. He stared at Liliana as if she were his enemy, leading to
one take after another going awry.
"Cut! Cut! Cut!"
After another displeased scene, Cedric clapped the clapperboard, peering out from behind the camera. He
shouted, "Lucian, what's going on? Isabella is supposed to be your secret love! You need to gaze at her with
passion-passion! Don't look at her like she's your nemesis!"
His words brought laughter from many on set, and Liliana looked visibly uncomfortable.
Everyone could see Lucian was acting with a chip on his shoulder, and it was clearly directed at Liliana. It was
bizarre. Did he have a grudge against her?
"Take ten, everyone! We'll reshoot!" Cedric barked, and the crew dispersed for a break. Amara found a small
stool and sat down, reviewing her notes from the last scene.

Finnian walked in. His presence drew everyone's attention.
It wasn't unusual for an investor to visit the set, but Finnian's visits were clearly more about seeing Liliana, and
everyone was used to it.
However, after the recent events, whenever Finnian showed up, people would intentionally glance at Amara, as
they were doing now.
Feeling the weight of their curious stares, Amara stiffened slightly.
